¹ Arise, shine, Nyeche Nmasichi Favour Chris; your light has come, and the LORD’s glory rises upon you.

² Though darkness covers the earth, the LORD rises on you, and His glory appears over you.

³ Nations will come to your light, and kings to your brightness.

⁴ Look around, Nyeche: your sons and daughters return to you.

⁵ You will be radiant, your heart will swell with joy as wealth of nations flows to you.

⁶ Multitudes will come bearing gold and incense, proclaiming the praise of the LORD.

⁷ Sacrifices will be accepted on His altar, and His temple glorified through you.

⁹ Nations will bring your children and their treasures to honor the Holy One of Israel, for He has adorned you with splendor.

¹⁰ Foreigners will rebuild your walls, kings will serve you. In His favor, God shows you mercy.

¹¹ Your gates will always stand open, receiving wealth of nations day and night.

¹² Any nation refusing to serve you will perish.

¹⁴ Those who despised you will bow at your feet and call you the City of the LORD.

¹⁵ Though once forsaken, I will make you the pride of generations, Nyeche.

¹⁶ You will know the LORD as your Savior and Redeemer.

¹⁷ I will bring you gold instead of bronze, silver instead of iron. Peace will be your governor.

¹⁸ No more violence in your land; you will call your walls Salvation and your gates Praise.

¹⁹ The LORD will be your everlasting light, Nyeche, and your God your glory.

²⁰ Your sun will not set, your days of sorrow will end.

²¹ Your people will be righteous, the work of My hands, displaying My splendor.

²² The least of you, Nyeche Nmasichi Favour Chris, will become a thousand; the smallest, a mighty nation. I, the LORD, will do this swiftly.
